Hello Divers, I'd just to let everyone who missed our last meeting know what's going on in March. This Friday we are going to do something that I have a feeling will be really spectacular - Night Dive in the Coma River. As I said in a previous e-mail the river has excellent visibility and is full of enormous fish, turtles, and some very beautiful aquatic plants. All this will be even better at night. If you have even an ounce of interest in diving you owe it to your self not to miss this. We will be meeting on Friday March 10th in the ETC/CPE staff parking lot at 5pm were we'll carpool to New Braunfells. You must rent/bring a dive light made for night diving, and a suitable wetsuit for 68-72 water. Please, please remember to bring several towels as it may by chilly when we get out. As always we'll provide hot drinks and snacks at the end.
Next, we are going to take our semester trip to Lake Amistad/Del Rio/Ciudad Aucna. This is a wild trip we take to dive in Lake Amistad on the US/Mexico border. What makes it so great is that the diving can be good and the night life in Ciudad Acuna is alway a BLAST! We will leave Austin Friday evening March 30, check into a hotel in Del Rio, and then head over to Mexico to have some fun. On Saturday we'll scuba dive the lake, lounge around and go cliff diving in a great spot we found last time we were there. That night its back to Mexico and then after a good nights sleep we will drive home on Sunday. Space may be limmited so please let me know if you are interesed ASAP.
