Schedule of Events

 

 9:00 am Doors open  Side entrance of ELKS Lodge


 9:00 - 10:00 am Registration, pickup T-Shirt and name tag & welcome package.  Coffee, donuts, fruit and juice, buffet. 


Get re-acquainted time, setup personal photos and memorabilia, view vintage eqpt.  and other displays.

 

9:30 am - Silent Auction opens for bids.

 

10:00 am - WELCOME ADDRESS - Mr. Eric Peterson, Master of Ceremonies

 

10:15 am Introduction of first speaker, Sonny Logan, SWC Pres. 1961 & 62 


Topic, History of area diving, where its been where it may be going! What happened to SWC??


10:45 Up-date of SCIP/SWC web site by Paul Johnston, Q & A period

 

11:00 am WET BAR OPENS 


11:00 am - Capt. A. E. Blood to spin a yarn or two and show some hand made nautical jewelry. Q & A session   

11:30 am - Free time to visit -


DIVE the Commercial Superlite 17K or 27 at Pool Side and/or, the
New Aqualung Double Hose regulator and other vintage regulators under the direction of Randy Wilgus. 


Review your bid on Silent Auction items.


12:30 pm -Buffet Lunch at Pool Side - BS Session, take a dive, whatever!

 

2:00 pm -  ?Beneath the Gulf? & The History Of Sport Diving


Vintage movies, other show and tell (slides or movies) as presented from attendants. Dick Wilgus & Eric Peterson


3:00 pm - Paul Oberle Sr. hosts ?Story Time?


(Everyone needs to be prepared to re-cant their favorite or most memorable dive story.)
  Prize awarded for best tale.


Silent Auction ends

4:30 pm - Drawing for Door Prizes and other awards. By Jim Aden


5:00 pm - Closing comments by all who care to say a few words to the group.

   FREE TIME-VISIT, CHAT - SUN BATHE - TAKE A DIP IN POOL   - . 


6:00 pm "til ? Visit and sip a cold one or two show slides and movies, tell lies, play music, dance, party, climb the flagpole, chug a-lug contest- (ginger ale of course).


We must be out of the Bldg. By mid-night.

 

       ALL TIMES ARE APPROXIMATE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE

A slide projector, VHS & DVD player and TV will be on hand for all to use.
